Question
Help! I am getting married on 28th december doing my own flowers. I have just learned that deliveries will only take place on Saturday 22nd or Friday 28th December. If i use the Saturday delivery the roses will be open (as i am dipping in glitter) but will be 6 days old - if i use the friday delivery the roses will be fresh but not open enough? What do you suggest? Will 6 day old roses if kept in their chiller room be ok?

First of all, try to find another supplier.  I have never heard of anyone only delivering every six days... that's absurd!  Most reputable distributors can get your items in overnight.

If you have to go with these guys, get the later delivery.  6 day old roses will look past it!  To get yours to open, cut them at an angle, clean the stems and put them RIGHT UP THE NECK OF THE FLOWER in tepid water, just a bit warmer than room temp, and keep in a warmish room.  You can even hit them with a blowdryer on warm.  I learned this at a rose show and it works like a charm to coax open roses.  Keep em warm!
