How do I make a Standing Floral Spray? What holds the flowers on the easel, and what is the best way to keep them fresh throughout the outdoor process of the funeral?

For a hanging spray, you'd need to buy a special type of holder.  It looks like a plastic cage and comes with a brick of floral foam inside.  One end has a tab to hang on a hook on the easle.  You may wish feed a cable tie through the hole in the tab and hang it by the cable tie, instead.  That may be easier.  You soak the entire piece in water, and then add flowers.  The water in the floral foam should be adequate to keep the flowers fresh through the funeral, but I would mist the whole arrangement with a spray bottle of water until it's ready to use, since flowers lose moisture through their petals.

Just as a tip - if possible, make the arrangement while it's hanging.  It's very difficult to make it while it's flat, because once it hangs, bald spots often show that you couldn't see while the arrangement was lying down.
