QuestionHi, our budget is small, but I found a great source of hydrangea 20 stems for $144.50 and tulips 10 bunches for $148 or iris about the same. My problem is we have this 14 foot Eiffel Tower, and we need to put flowers around it. Is there a way I could use Hydrangea to decorate large flower arrangements and take up space around this thing? Multilevel flower stands? Large vases? Large arrangements? How do I use that space around it? I was thinking flowering branches, but I can't find anything in June that is purple or lavender. I dfound only wholesale stuff. I could use silk? I would rather use real flowers. Maybe I could decorate arches? Oh, there is a 3 piece room divider, that has candle holders at BBB for $50. Maybe I could decorate 2 of those iron room partitions wit the candles? Help...
Thank you!
AnswerHi, im trying to get a picture in my head of what your trying to describe. Is there anyway that you can put the hyrdanger on top and make a small arrangment at the top using oasis to hold it in, and at the same time getting a flower called hanging amaranthus which is long in length so when you add it to your arrangement at the top at will hang down, adding some colour to the rest of the tower. You could also add trailing ivy aswell. It will look silly if you only do something at the top of the tower without trying to add some flowers to the middle or the bottom.
Im not sure if this makes any sense to you, but without pictures it can be difficult to imagine.
If you go with this idea then there is no need for flower bunches around the tower and therefore gives you extra flowers for decorating elsewhere around you venue.
I hope i have make sense to you, but if not then please contact me again.
Thanks Dawn
