QuestionI am planning my wedding and while looking at reception halls ran into a beautiful centre piece. I would have liked to attach a picture of the centre piece for you to see, however it does not seem a viable option on this site.
I have now purchased the vase and am trying to make my own floral arrangements. Unfortunately, I am not sure how the florist placed the bouquet on top of the vase without having it fall in or fall off. I am sure he used a sponge but other than that I would very much appreciate your assistance.
AnswerHi, it depending on what sort of centerpiece your after. All centerpieces are holding the flowers with oasis, which acts like a sponge and holds and waters the flowers.
You can have an all round piece, to which you just put your foliage in around the vases creating a ball shape, but you have to mind and put the foliage and flowers at an angle facing down at the bottom. it is like working in rows. if you imagine a football then that is the shape your after. hope this makes sense
The other shape is a forward facing arrangement. this might be easier. Your shape is a triangle. The trick is to get the shape right with the foliage and when putting the flowers in all your doing is following the shape.
