Dear expert,

I have a commercial greenhouse in a tropical region. it is a 3000 square meter greenhouse which I use it to grow tomato in autumn and winter which the weather is ok for this type of plant. my problem is in other half of the year I can't find any appropriate plant to grow and sell in my greenhouse. because the weather is too hot and humid in spring and summer. do u have any idea about a plant that is ok with this type of climate and is economically full of profit?

this is the weather history of my region in previous 30 years.this region is located in 30 km distance to sea with 30 meter over sea level altitude.
Notice that it is hard for me to make my greenhouse clod in spring and summer but it is possible to make it a little colder than outside.

Hi Amir,

Some suggestions I have to possibly grow during your spring and summer months are basil, peppers, eggplant, or perhaps melons.  Have you tried any of these? I know there is usually a good market demand for these, however you would have to check your area to make sure.

I have grown the above in greenhouses in western Canada with the temperature reaching into the 30 C range.  The area I am most familiar with is not humid however, can you adjust the humidity in your greenhouse?
