I have friends in U.B. Mongolia.  What would be the easiest vegetables to grow there for their orphanage and feeding center?

Based on the soil condition and rain fall your friend show be able to grow tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, lettuce, corn and a host of other items. Mongolia is far enough north to allow for these types of crops.

The soil mixture needs to be good. Encourage making of organic fertilizer.
