QuestionMy zucchini produces all kinds of female flowers with zuchini that are little finger-sized. I see no male flowers at all. Not even any male flower stems. Do you know why my zucchini does not produce male flowers?
AnswerJohn:
That's unusual, it's usually the other way around - at least squash commonly starts out with male flowers, with the females following a couple of weeks later. Sometimes plants will produce only male or female flowers however. Do you only have the one? If you have other squash plants, they can cross-pollinate, so you may still get some fruits. It's not too late in the season, you could simply buy another plant.
