QuestionMy tomatoe plants seem to be wilting. I have 12 planted in 2 rows and the one row has wilted to the point that it looks like it will die. What is causing this and can this be cured before it is too late? Thank you for your help
AnswerGene:
There are a number of diseases that can effect tomatoes, viruses and fungi. since the entire row is affected, I would expect one of these. It doesn't really matter which one, as it sounds like they are at the point of no return. However, if you can send pictures of the leaves, stem and roots of an infected plant, I MAY be able to identify the problem if you are interested.
Most likely, you will have to remove and destroy the infected plants - you may be able to save the others still.
