Questioni am 12 years old and have made a vegetable garden last year. I really enjoyed it so i have made one this year with basil, pepper, carrot, and cucumbers. But i also have some Alaskan peas... but there's just one problem... i live in Florida. Alaskan peas are very sensitive to heat so about what time should i plant them?
AnswerNathan:
ALL peas are sensitive to heat. They won't produce if the temperature gets above about 80 degrees, so plant them when the average daytime temperatures are in the 60s or 70s, if possible. You can wait until later in the year and plant them to mature in the fall or winter, whenever the weather will be right.
