growing berries indoors

Question
I would like to grow bug free berries, preferably strawberries, indoors. Is there a simple, not too expensive method of doing this? If so, what are the best types of berry plants to use?

I've never heard of this being done. You would have to provide adequate light and heat, and I really doubt that the berries would be as good tasting as those grown in sunlight. what kind of bugs do you have on your outdoor berries? It might be easier to grow them on plastic mulch with row covers, outdoors than to try and do it inside.
