QuestionI have a cherry tomato plant that has yellowing, brown spots on the leaves is this fungus? Will neem oil work i know its expensive?
AnswerDear Cale J Compton,
I've read a bit about neem oil and also some references to a copper spray, and both appear to be adequate for the problem. Before you try something very expensive, if you feel the plant has some time, try watering just the soil and roots and keeping the plant itself dryer. Usually changing the watering will help with a fungus and picking the affected leaves off, may reduce the spread throughout the plant, if it's not all over the plant, yet. Mulching will help eliminate water splash to the leaves and keeping the plant staked off of the ground or soil is helpful also.
I hope your tomato plant comes out of this.
Kind Regards,
KD
