Where do seeds for seedless tomatoes originate?

Answer
They come from a hybrid seed that is genetically coded from two different varieties of tomatoes. It has taken several decades for the hybridizers to finally breed a seedless tomato. Burpee is marketing their first seedless tomato in their 2009 catalog.
