Suckers from any plant are an ideal method of propagation. Simply remove the sucker below the soil level, making sure to retain as much of the root system as possible. You can then transplant the sucker directly into the garden or into a large pot filled with a fertile potting soil. Either way, make sure the soil is always moist until the new plant establishes its own roots. The benefit of growing from a sucker or a cutting is that you will get an exact replicate of the parent plant.
