banana peppers and chilis

Question
I have a banana pepper plant and a chili pepper plant in a container I keep in my house.  They get plenty of sun and are watered regularly.  They have grown quite tall, but have produced no peppers.  Lately, the leaves seem to be falling off, but not all of them.  It has made some small flowers, but they always drop off.  I live in NJ and it is on average about 85 degrees during the day and in the 70's at night.  Should I move them outside or do you have any other advice?

Answer
Kyle:

If your plants are inside and only get light from through a window this filters out the photo effect of the sun and the production will be poor or non at all. If you need to keep inside you will need a grow light.

The leaves dropping of might be a fungus. Keep an eye out. If this continues you will need to spray with an all purpose fungacide.

Please let me know what your results are.

Best wishes.
