Questioncan you start cherry trees from the seeds of cherries, and how do you start?
AnswerMartha:
Yes you can start trees from seeds. Carefully make sure the seed is free of meat. Then let it sun dry for several days. After that soak it in water 24 hours and put it 1/4 inch below the potting soil. Keep moist and warm until you see it sprout.
A better bet is to buy a small tree or graft a limb off a producing tree.
Best wishes and good luck.
