QuestionHow do I check the root system of a tomato plant? When something goes wrong, advise givers say check the root system. Can you help with this question? I have asked it twice now and no answer yet. Thank you.
AnswerCarrie:
It is difficult to check the roots for nemitodes without damage.
If you have a plant that you suspect try to remove some of the dirt from around the roots of one plant and look for white material that would have attached to the roots. If you find this then it most likely is nemitodes and very difficult to treat. Ask your local plant supplier about the best liquid injection treatment.
Best wishes and good growing.
