Question
The squirrels have eaten all my cucumbers.  Can you tell me something that I
can use to keep them away.  I don't want to use any chemicals, because my son
eats vegetables right out of the garden.

Dear Annette,
When I give my husband a hair cut, I save the trimmings and use them in the garden, around the plants to keep the squirrels and rabbits from the vegetables.  We also have a short chicken wire fence around the garden area which tends to keep rodents out, while still allowing human access, without causing any problem for eating fresh veges right from the garden.
