QuestionThis is the first time that I am trying to grow a jalepano pepper plant. Since I live in a condo, it is being grown indoors. The instructions-tab that came with the plant (10-12" tall) says it requires a lot of sunlight. There is no instruction on how often to water or any other care tips. I would appreciate any tips you may have to offer me to grow a productive pepper plant indoors. Thanks.
AnswerDear Dina,
I water my indoor plants about 3 times a week, the ones that require a lot of sunlight. Make sure the potted plant has adequate drainage. I prefer some sort of pan under the pot, so the plant can "help itself to water" as needed. Without access to insects, pollination may be an issue once it begins to bloom. You can check into that when the time comes.
