QuestionMy dog dug up my bell pepper plant ( and destroyed the root ball) that had 3 nice peppers on it and was full of blooms.
Is there any way to save this plant ?
AnswerPenny, it all depends on how long the plant was uprooted before you found it. Normally, if you replant within 24 hours, and water very deeply, the plant will survive. It may be set back 1-2 weeks due to transplant shock, but once it does recover, it will begin producing peppers once again.
Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Mike
