Questioncan i bring my jalopeno pepper plants in for the winter ?will they die or still proudce peppers ,thanks wondering in indepence mo .plaese reply
AnswerRenee, pepper plants are annuals and only produce for a few months. Even if they did produce beyond that period, it is impossible to simulate the conditions they need to stay healthy. Peppers need a minimum of 8 hours of direct sunlight and warm temperatures. This cannot be reproduced in the average home unless you have a heated sun room facing west.
