AnswerDon, I'm assuming you're referring to miniature or ornamental corn. These are hybrid varieties where the growth gene has been altered to result in ears that are often less than 4" in length. They are served in Chinese dishes and stir fry meals. They grow on stalks exactly like regular corn, but are picked very young before the husks actually mature.
