Question

Entire bush  

Berries   This bush began growing early this summer. At first I thought it was milkweed but never got around to pulling it out. It grew so rapidly and suddenly became beautiful. I thought it was producing flowers, but the other day I noticed that the buds are turning into dark red/black berries. Could you tell me what this is?

I'm in southern NJ...Plant types vary from area to area...Plants that grow in your area do not necessarily grow in other areas of the country...
I have checked numerous plant pictures of plants in your area...Yours looks like pokeweed or eldebury...
The best way to find its' ID is take the pictures to your local garden center for them to ID it...You may have to visit more than one to find someone knowledgeable...
