QuestionBush, southwest corner
QUESTION: I have this bush in the front of my property and cannot identify for certain. I believe it's a dogwood bush because most of the properties are similar to the scores of red twig dogwoods that the previous owner planted. I can't be sure in the identification and after much research, would love some help.
Thanks so much!
Lonicera
ANSWER: Hi Paula,
I'm sorry to be so long answering. We just had a hurricane, and I've been without power. I think this is a blue-leaf Honeysuckle (Lonicera Korolkowii).
I'm sending a photo for comparison. If this isn't it, let me know and I'll keep looking. Thanks for your question.

Berries and flower
QUESTION: Susan, it was a nice quick answer, no worries about the slight delay.
I don't think it's the honeysuckle, as I find nothing in any description about the abundant number of berries on the bush, and the flowers look much different. I'll include a different photo and maybe that will help.
Thanks so much again, and take your time!
Paula
AnswerHi Paula,
Maybe it's a cousin, like Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus). The link below has pretty good pictures of it. Let me know if this is it. If not, we'll send off pics to some botanists and taxonomists. Look at several pictures on the web. Some have white berries, other cultivars have pink.
Thanks so much,
Susan
