Plant types vary from area to area...Plants that grow in Ontario do not necessarily grow in other areas of the country...Flowering plants are classified by the structure of their flower...I have checked numerous plants in your area but saw none with the leaves or flowers you have in your picture...Go to the specialist in your area...Take the picture to your local garden center for them to ID it...You may have to visit more than one to find someone knowledgeable of the plants in your area...

I have just found out what the name of flower in this inquiry turned out to be.  It was more good luck than good management.  I thought I would send this information along to you in appreciation for your help.

Lantana does grow here also...I did not connect the flowers to lantana even thought that is the best way to ID flowering plants...The leaves did look familiar but I could not find them in my searches..
Thanks for getting back to me...Next time I will be able to do a better job ID-ing a Lantana...
