idenyify my plant!?! PLEASE

Question

Unknown plant?
I've been on an on going unsuccessful search for the name and species of this
plant. It is believed the seeds were brought to Canada from Egypt area in the
mid 1930's. It can not survive the survive the cold winter, but loves water and
droughts.  The seeds "pop" and land usually around 5 feet away from the
plant.
The stem has a woody feel and I've included a picture. Any help on genus, or
family would be greatly appreciated. I have more pictures if needed.
Thanks.

Answer
That looks like a Plumeria to me.  Have you seen it flower?  It obviously has flowered if you have seeds.  Take a look at the image search below and see if you think I'm right.
