Question
Hi. I live in a 250 yr old cottage & the garden is a delight because every season, the plants just sprout out on their own. There are two particular flowers which i have difficulty identifying. I am sending u pics on yr email. The purple one is like a shrub..maybe its old. But the yellow flower is like a low vine that spreads like a weed all over the ground. looks a bit like sun drop.

The yellow one is a Hypericum or St. John's Wort.  The purple one I've never seen before.  I'll have to do some research and get back to you.  

Exactly where are you located??  That might help me identify the plant.

You know that anyone who stumps me with a plant has to send me a piece of it, lol.
