could you pls tel me what's the name of this house plant?I've just rented a new apartment and the owner  left me plant behind , which I did don't know how to take care of!we went for a 5 day vacation and accidentally we drew the curtains but when we came back it looked like my plant had developped way better in the darkness!

Hello Anca,

Your plant is a Aglaonema or better known as Cast-Iron Plant because...as you found out, their pretty tough.

They can handle a bright room but no direct sunlight. Water lightly in winter and "normally" the rest of the year.

This is the plant most used in resturants and offices because of their ability to take some neglect.
