QuestionI have a plant that looks like a grape vine but it isnt. It comes from a truck as a tree would but it goes out like and looks like a grape vine. but it doesnt have woody branches, but the leaves and the trendis look the same. thank DOES THE GRAPE IVY HAVE TRELLISES TWILING AROUND EVERYTHING, THIS PLANT HAS THEM AND THEY CLING AND TWIRLE AROUND OTHER PLANTS.
Answeris it an indoor tropical plant or an outdoor plant? i'm in southern NJ. it is an indoor plant in NJ. grape ivies have tendrils that cling to supports as they grow. it is a vine. you could consider it invasive in tropical areas. it would grow over other plants like most vining plants do.
look up ciccus rhomdifolia(grape ivy plant) on your search engine and compare your plant to the pictures they show you.
take a cutting enclosed in a plastic bag to a local nursery/garden center. it is very difficult to ID plants w/out seeing them. there are just too many of them out there.
