QuestionHello, I am in Arkansas. Last year I bought some rollout seeds from a school fundraiser. the roll in question was supposed to be Hollyhocks. A short bushy plant , looking like a squash plant came up. It has had no blooms or fruit, but is very hardy and has persistant growth, because the deer are eating it quite often. We like that and have a deer management program on our farm. But we need to know if it is good for them or would be harmful. We want to plant more. I am going to try and send digital pictures with this. Thank you very much. Lou Gillihan
Answermost plants will not kill animals(castor oil bean seeds, trumpet vine flowers, and roots of some other plants are toxic if ingested). contact the school and tell them to see what went wrong.
do send a digital photo(jpeg format) to
[email protected] and i'll see what i can do.
put PLANT ID on the subject line so i will open it.
