QuestionIs it possible to identify a plant's preference of pH by visual characteristics. ie flower stucture, stamen or pistil arangment or number, leaf shape etc?
AnswerChristopher,
I am unaware of any morphological determinate which designates a plants pH preference.
Floral structure or foliage shape and arrangement would have no bearing on pH requirements, at least to my knowledge. Like-wise even examination of root structure, whether ring or diffuse porous or even growth shape and size would not indicate pH.
