QuestionIt is a plant with heart shaped purple leaves that fold up umbrella style during the night. It has a white flower. The name that she gives it is OXYDELIS but I can find this name nowhere on the web. Please could you help me.

Answerlook under oxalis. it can be a nightmare in a greenhouse. when the seeds mature they shoot (sometimes 20-30 feet) across the room. just touching the plant when seeds are present can cause them to shoot. i've seen it forsale numerous times at garden centers. you could call it an invasive species. as an indoor houseplant it should not be too much of a problem, unless the seeds land in other pots.
