begonia species

Question
I am in Suffolk, England and visited a friend's house yesterday. He had been given a houseplant which he could not identify and I am trying to help him.
It looks like a type of begonia of some type, mid green with whitish spotting on the leaves. The flowers were in groups, pendulous and white, around 18mm in diameter each.  The leaves were approx 100 - 125mm long.  The stem was long, but I am usure whether this is due to habit or bad lighting!
I could not get a picture last night but may be able to get one next time I visit.
I hope this is enough info for you to have a stab at identifying it for me.
Regards,  Val

Answer
i'm in southern new jersey, USA.
sounds like some type of angel wing begonia(if shaped like an angel wing). or possibly a tuberous begonia (if shaped more like a geranium leaf).
the pictures should be in jpeg format. send one from a distance, another of the leaf. fruit if on it. or flower if present.
