I PURCHASED A SEDUM MAKINOI  'OGON' FROM A NURSERY THIS SUMMER BUT DIDN'T GET TO PLANT IT YET. CAN YOU TELL ME WHETHER IT IS A SHADE OR SUN LOVING PLANT. APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE. THANX. JOANNE

it will do best in a partial shade to full sun exposure. like most sedums it prefers well drained soil. they do not tolerate wet conditions for long periods. it depends on where you live. i'm in southern NJ and it would tolerate full sun here. in warmer climates it would be better in partial shade (under a tree, morning or afternoon sun exposure).
