Question
Rick...I purchased a 4 inch patchouli plant 6 months ago and it is thriving indoors - now about 20 inches tall.  What should I do with the plant ? Is it an outdoor plant ? Should I dry the leaves for potpourri ? Suggestions appreciated.

it is an outdoor plant in the tropics. it's grown for it's oils (perfumes, insecticides, etc.). the leaves are fragrant and can be used for potpourri. needs temps 50+. don't repot it into a larger pot if you want to keep it smaller. the larger the pot the larger it will grow. fertilize weekly during the growing season. sounds like your doing well in the plantcare part. continue the good work.
