Question
I have a Hunter (I think x-core) timer on my irrigation system, but I'd like to switch to an Orbit - Iris?Easy-Set Logic Timer - 12 Station, so I can connect it to my home automation system.  Are the timers interchangeable across brands?

Hey John, yes you can change out this controller with the new controller. The main thing, is that when you take off the field wires (the wires that run from the controller to the valves), is that you mark each one, as you take them off, and install them on the new controller to the same #'s as you took them off. Also make sure the wire marked C for common, is hooked back up to C common on the new controller, if they are not hooked up correctly, you will have problems. Good luck and have a great day.
