QuestionMy house sustained a lightning strike and my sprinkler timer is dead, i.e. blank screen and non-responsive. I lost other electronic devices but many survived. The timer's transformer plug checks out okay on a voltmeter. Is there a fuse or any other repair that can be made or is it gone forever and needs to be replaced? Thanks!
AnswerHey Jason, so first just disconnect the power for about 2 minutes and then turn the power back on. If you look in back of the controller, above the #6 terminal screw, you will see a reset contact. Take a flat head screwdriver, and make contact with the 2 contacts. If the controller still does not give you a display, it is time to replace the controller. Good luck and have a great day.
