Question
I have a Nelson EZ Pro 8306 controller that malfunctions and shows a "P" code on the monitor in various zones at different times of operation.  It seems to be intermittent, working sometimes for short periods, then not working at all other times.  Do you know what I can do to fix this?

Hey Mike, If you look in the manual it says 3 things it could be. #1 wires not connected or short in wires or solenoids. you need to check your wires and or solenoids. #2 more than 2 solenoids hooked to one zone. You can only have one solenoid hooked to one zone. Check and make sure you don't have more than one solenoid hooked to one zone.#3 controller damaged from lightning. Probably is not this, since it works some times. I would suggest checking your wiring and solenoids to make sure you have proper connections, the wire is not damaged, or the solenoids are not damaged. Good luck and have a great day.
