QuestionI have a zone that is not working. When I tested the voltage for that zone I get a continuous 24volts even though the zone is turned off. The zones that work give 0 volts until they are turned on and then give 24. The controller is about 14 years old. Is it time for another controller or can this one be saved? thanks.
AnswerHey Peter, what i could suggest, is that if you have a zone that is not being used(lets say you have a 6 station controller but you only have 5 zones hooked up) then you could take the bad station and move the field wire to zone #6. If you don't have an extra station, then it is probably time to replace the controller. Good luck and have a great day.
