QuestionHi Jim, I have a rain sensor LED that came on when it rained heavily and shut off the system, but it did not reset. The red LED alarm light is still on and the display shows "sensor". Both go out when sensor is switched to "Bypassed" but come back on when sensor is switched back to "Active". Do I need to keep the Sensor switch in the "Bypassed" mode to allow the system to run Program A, and will it reset the rain sensor if I do? Is the system's rain sensor suppose to reset automatically? Can't find any answers in the manual. Thanks for any help you can offer. Rick
AnswerHey Rick, what is happening, is that the rain sensor probably still has moisture in it, so it is still not allowing the system to operate. Once the moisture in the sensor evaporates, then the system should go back to normal and begin to operate, it should reset itself automatically, without you having to do anything. If you need it to operate in the mean time, simply leave the switch in the bypassed position, it sounds like you already figured that out. good luck and have a great day.
