Kwikdial Irritrol sprinkler timer would not turn on

Question
Just came back from 3 weeks vacation and my indoor sprinkler controller which is a kwikdial Irritrol system with 6 station is dead. No power.  I replaced the transformer with a brand new from home depot but still would not work. New transformer only have 2 wires red and black. Old one had an extra green common.
Do I just need to put red and black as it was with no common ?
If my power and transformer is working,  is there a fuse  in the controller i can check ?
I can not see any fuse in the unit at least  after I opened the bottom cover. Not sure there is one on the top.
Is there any other troubleshooting help you can provide before I buy a new one and replace the whole unit ?
Any help will be a
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Paban,

Check the power at the red and black wires from the transformer, it should be 24 volts, if you have voltage the controller  is damaged. If no power, check the outlet, should have 110 volts if not check for Gfi or circuit breaker.

Guillermo
