QuestionQUESTION: We have Hunter Pro-C control box. One zone will not run on auto, but will run when that zone or whole system is run manually. Moved wire for that zone to an empty zone on box, but problem persists. Rest of the zones work correctly on auto. Any ideas?
ANSWER: Hi Janet,
Most probably the zone doesn't have time assigned. In this situation the zone will work in test mode, but not in auto. Make sure all zones connected has run time.
To do this turn the dial to "set station run time" , with the arrows move to the station and using the plus sign set time.

Guillermo

QUESTION: There IS time assigned to this particular zone. We also ran the quick check test on the box and it shows no errors for any zone. Once again, the zone works when it's run manually, but will not work on auto. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help.
AnswerHi Janet,
Measure the voltage at the zone while is running in auto, it should be between 24 and 30 volts if the voltage is fine, measure the solenoid, set the volt meter to ohms at the 200 range, put the red lead at the zone port and the black lead at the common port, it should be any value between 20 and 60 ohms, if is more or less, replace the solenoid.
Hope this helps,
Guillermo.
