QuestionQUESTION: I have a Hunter Pro C system. I started it up the other day and station one would run continuously, even when the system was turned off. The only was I could stop it is by turning the water off.
Thanks - Dan
ANSWER: Hi Dan,
The station 1 valve probably has any foreign object inside (sand, small rock, frog, snail) that prevents it to close. You need to open and clean, probably you will need to replace the diaphragm.
If you can tell me the brand and model of your valve, I'll be able to give you instructions to disassembly..

Guillermo

QUESTION: Guillermo,
Thank you for your help. The valve system is a rain bird 100 DV
Thanks,
Dan
Answer
valve
Hi Dan,
Make sure the external bleed screw is closed, if open (lose) the valve will no close.
If no solution, unscrew top screws and separate the top from the base.
Be careful with the spring.
Take out the diaphragm and look for any foreign object.
Assembly it again, do not overtight the screws, only until it does not leak.
See picture.
Let me know if you need further help.
