Question
I have had a Hydrotek 2120 irrigation system for 16 years now. The timer toggles between 3 irrigation zones in my yard. Recently it has stopped switching from zone to zone and only directs water to one of the 3 zones.  I've tried manually turning the timer on/off which normally toggles the water to the next zone. This did not work.  I suspect a part may be worn or a contact dirty and am looking for your opinion on what steps to take to correct this issue. I assume this is a common problem. Thanks Jim.

Hey Vic, we don't service this brand, but this is what is wrong. I doubt you have a problem with the controller, the problem is with the rotator valve. When the controller turns on the water, it goes to a rotating valve, that rotates from one zone to the next zone. this valve is stuck, and is not rotating from one zone to the next. What you need to do, is find this valve, and get a rebuild kit to rebuild it, or buy a new valve. Good luck and have a great day.
