Hey Jim put a new solinoid in reconnected wires now not working at,all have reset control box can u help

Hey Ric, turn off the water and remove the solenoid you installed. Now turn the valve on at the controller and see if the plunger is pulled up into the solenoid. If it is, then the solenoid is working properly, and the diaphram is probably faulty and needs to be replaced. If the plunger is not being pulled up into the solenoid, then you either have the wires hooked up wrong, or the wires are bad, or the controller is faulty.
