QuestionI printed off the manual and will go back and check some things. I first started with the controller and then went to each valve at the zones. It looks like my back flow is in the front yard in the control box rather than along the side of the house.
This evening after work I will go back and turn off all the solenoid's, which I turned open when I wasn't getting pressure. Then I will start from the beginning again to see if I have solved the issue.
Next to the solenoid's there is an additional "valve" that you can turn that also effects the pressure of the water. The manual did not mention anything about those. Looks like each solenoid has one of these right infront of it. I have 5 zones, so 2 solenoids in front, 2 in back, and 1 on the side of the house.
By doing what I did in regards to turning on the vavle at the zone, will that cause any damage to the irrigation system??
Thanks!
AnswerYou may be looking at the "flow control" feature that is on some valves. I believe your issue is basically you manually turned on all the valves and then went to the timer, but since you manually turned them all on and never turned them off that is the reason why your system was not functional. Remember that all the valves need to be manually in the OFF position and the controller controls them by turning them on and off.
