I replaced a 10yr old rd-1200 with a new one, now that change out is complete it does not run its cycles
Automatically  only if I run it in manually, front display show time blinking and also "of1" blinking
I thought changing out same unit same way would be no sweat! Please advise

Hi Brian,

Time Flashing means a power outage and you have no battery or a weak one. OF1 means you have a short circuit on valve 1.

Check the wiring: There should be a white wire connected to the COM/GRD terminal, and several colored wires connected to each numbered terminals.

Replace the solenoid on valve # 1, Same wire color on port # 1.

Be sure you set:

Start time
Valve Run Times
Schedule  day settings

Without any of those settings the RD will not run automatically.
