I just got an auto reply from you saying you had previously answered the question from me.  I have not contacted you in the past, plus I did not see a similar question/reply in your log of questions/replies.  Here is my question again:

My Hardie RD-1200 sprinkler controller goes on a couple of times per day and does not allow me to set the time of day to start.  It also only shows PM for time of day.  The AM settings disappeared.  I have tried to reset, as well as changing
the battery and unplugging and replugging in.  Any advice?  Do I need to replace
it?

So I understand, when programming the controller you for example only see times with PM and the PM setting never disappears. And you do not have a 24hr military style option for your year controller. If so yes you need a replacement. On my end of this voluntary service that I do in my free time there are multiple options and I accidentally hit the wrong response. So my apology. Best of luck. If replacing the controller you may look into a hunter pro-c or rainbird esp modular. The rd1200 is outdated with features and pretty much unchanged in the past 15+ years.
