Question
Rainbird timer flashes FU5. I don't know the model number. While the current time is displayed and other settings, such as time to run ,etc. seem to be set OK, manual run no longer works and the sprinklers don't run at set times. Any ideas?

Hey Derrick, without knowing which exact controller you have, this is a general solution you can try. If the controller is flashing "FU5" more than likely the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced. Check in the back of the controller, on the back of the panel, and see if you see the fuse. Make sure you replace it with the exact type you take out. If the fuse continues to blow, then you probably either have a short in a wire, or a short in one of the solenoids on your valves. This issue needs to be resolved, before the controller will operate properly. Good luck and have a great day.
