Model 446PR sprinkler control - display, after setting everything, shows - 6 then blank spaces then upside down u . ???

Hey Jim, what I would suggest is to take out the battery, and then disconnect the power for about 1 minute, and then with the battery "not" installed, hook the power back up and see if you get a better display. If you don't get a better display, then the controller is bad and needs to be replaced. This controller is no longer made, but I would suggest replacing it with either a Irri-trol "Rain-dial" controller, or a Rainbird "ESP" series controller. Good luck and have a great day.
