we have a rain bird ESP-lxi and the #4 watering station time has symbols in front of it but I can't find an explanation - problem is when on auto it skips from 3-5. During tes #4 goes on. Are these symbols the cause?

Hey John, does it say "fault 4"? this means that this particular valve had a short in it. It could either be the wires going to the valve, or the solenoid on the valve. To protect the controller, the controller will jump over station #4. Go to www.rainbird.com, and you can download a manual from this website. The manual will explain the different codes to you, and why they are coming up. good luck and have a great day.
